We all have mentor/idols who have been major factors or influences in our lives. When I need to check my bearing, it's "Lefty's" number that gets dialed.

He's never failed to answer the call, calibrate my compass and set me back on course (pretty nautical huh).

"Lefty" has had a similar effect upon the lives of countless others in and out of angling and will always be counted as the modern father of fly fishing. I PROUDLY call him
